Dimitri Akhrin


Founder, President and CEO

Mr. Akhrin founded Bank Associates Merchant Services on the premise that delivering on every level of commitment is the cornerstone of successful business. Mr. Akhrin has established many solid relationships with CEOs and financial pioneers across a broad range of industries. His network of connections, coupled with his natural abilities to lead and teach, have allowed him to put together one of the most impressive teams in the industry. Having been in the payment processing industry for nearly ten years, Dimitri has been involved in the evolution of many products and services and truly understands their importance from the inside-out.

Dimitri Akhrin received his Bachelor of Science in Business & Technology Management from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University.


Drew Goldbaum


Director of Operations

Ms. Goldbaum comes to BAMS with over 5 years of experience in the payment processing industry. With astute problem solving and analytical skills, Ms. Goldbaum directs and manages the activities of the operations team in the day-to-day functions of the company. Directly responsible for maintaining operations activities, including: account acquisition, underwriting, new account setups, equipment deployment, account maintenance and support, she ensures that proper procedural processes are followed by the operations team for maximum productivity and quality of service. Ms. Goldbaum is continuously responsible for the improvement of company-wide efficiency andhas been an integral part of the company since day one.

Drew Goldbaum received her Bachelor of Arts from New York University.


Michael Sipershteyn


Northeast Regional Sales Manager

Mr. Sipershteyn comes to Bank Associates Merchant Services with five years of banking experience. Coming from the commercial banking side of the financial industry, Mr. Sipershteyn lends his expertise in structured corporate management. Michael's ability to train and mentor the sales force has allowed him to become a trusted and integral part of Bank Associates Merchant Services. With his help, Bank Associates Merchant Services continues to grow exponentially by acquiring new vertical and horizontal markets. BAMS has relied on Mr. Sipershteyn to reach new heights in the industry.

A Choice of Payment Options

Studies show that merchants who offer 3 or more payment types realize a 14% increase in sales over those that offer two or fewer types. To stay inline and even ahead of payment trends, BAMS offers merchants a wide variety of payment types including credit card acceptance, PIN-based debit acceptance, gift card programs, and ACH and e-check services. Research among merchants and consumers supports the tactic of multiple payment. Larger merchants accept, on average, 3 payment types, while those with lower sales volume accept, on average, less than three. Consumers indicate that, given equivalent product and price, accepting the payment type they prefer is a key influencer in their purchase decision. Individual consumers may move among the payment options available to them depending on the type of purchase and current credit available to them. As such, it is essential to offer your customers a variety of payment options in order to be ensure each sale - BAMS provides you with this distinct advantage.
